Year 7 Orientation days

We are delighted to welcome our incoming Year 7 2026 students to Cannington Community College for two Orientation Days.

Where:
Cannington Community College, 147 Wharf Street, Cannington
When:

  • Monday 8 December 2025
  • Tuesday 9 December 2025
    Time: 9:00am sharp – 2:30pm each day
    Meeting Point: On the lawn outside the College Canteen

What to Bring

  • School uniform
  • School bag & pencil case
  • Snack for recess & water bottle
  • Extra shirt for sport (optional)
  • Lunch for Monday (or purchase from the Canteen at recess/lunch)
  • Lunch will be provided on Tuesday

What to Expect

Students will attend a welcome assembly before joining their groups to take part in a variety of subjects, experiencing a typical high school day.

After School

At the end of each day, all visiting students will wait on the lawn outside the Canteen until collected by parents.
If students have permission to make their own way home, a signed note must be provided.

We look forward to meeting our new Year 7 students and welcoming you into the College community!
